INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGNER • TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST • DIGITAL MEDIA SPECIALIST

Teaching, Learning, and Technology Specialist

In my role as the Teaching, Learning, and Technology Specialist at UW-Whitewater College of Business and Economics, I lead training sessions for faculty and staff, helping them make the most of technology for both in-person and online teaching. I created video content and e-learning modules using tools like Adobe Premiere Pro and Articulate Storyline 360, and developed training materials for instructors. I also worked closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) to provide guidance on technology and help design effective presentations for online classes.

In addition to training, I managed our media studio, overseeing the production of more than 2300 videos annually, from recording to post-production, ensuring everything is done efficiently and with high quality. I also trained and supervised student media techs to assist with studio operations.

I provided tech support across the college (focusing on our Learning Management System, Educational Software, Classroom AV, and General Computer Support) and worked with various campus departments on AV and marketing projects. I also played a key role in planning and budgeting large projects, such as upgrading AV equipment in classrooms and conference rooms, improving media recording setups, and enhancing student project spaces. I collaborated with our creative manager on photography, live streaming, and video editing for college events.
